Did you ever notice how hot the knob gets?... when it gets hot it loosens the adhesive and it will slide around... I had the same problem... I ditched my Greddy a while ago...

I've heard that they can get warm but they don't get really hot... as for wear... it should last a long time

yeah it really sucks when it gets hot. I got to my car once when it was my turn to drive in my heat (autocrossing) and the thing was burning hot, I grabbed some ice to cool it down.

Put a towel on it!!

just make sure you put the sticker on after you screw the aluminum knob on. Dumb salesman put my sticker on the shift knob, then screwed it on and it never lined up. The sticker ended up ruined and they had to order me a second shift knob. Shift knob on first, then sticker. It threads the same way every time and ends up in the same exact spot! If you do mess up the sticket placement, take the knob off and use a pen to pop the sticker up. Oh, and the thing gets hot as hell when its hot out. Just a heads up.

Ooooooh... nice. But as much as I like shiny parts, but the stock leather knob is real good... I see no need to replace that one!

i park in a parking garage during the day so i'm not worried about that, already got a hat ready for sun bathing. I'll take pics friday maybe, TOmorrow I have work and then the summer concert drunkfest downtown so I won't be home to take pics. soon enough.

The Sticker went on fine after I screwed on the knob. I love how even though its not much difference, the absense of the little extention thats on the leather knob (under the ball part) makes the length about .5" shorter. small difference but noticable to me. well worth the purchase, and it'll compliment my sport pedals when i order them next month

Here is a little help on the heating up problem... carry a hat or an old t-shirt and when you get out just throw it over the shifter! Works like an " old t shirt or hat covering up a shift knob!" LOL Oh and by the way it looks really sharp! Hey Evoslilbro... it looks like your stretching the hell outta your parking break cable! that thing should not be all the way up! LOL
