I didn't do it on this car yet. On the Integra, I felt that the engine revved quicker... and also noticed that the valves would make less noise when the engine was cold. But these are purely biased impressions of course... the important thing is knowing that your engine is protected much better in the first seconds before the oil has time to reach all the engine components... and that when you rev it near the cutoff most of the time (like I do), you're not putting too much wear on the engine.
Anyway, it's not recommended to go back and forth between conventional and synthetic... so I just have to decide if I want to start paying a bit more to have better oil in the car. With gas prices these days, I'm suddenly not that eager to add to my financial stress... but I might switch at the next oil change anyway. I've been thinking about it since the first oil change.
