RRM K-Strut Bar vs. Stock

So I had the RRM k-bar on my old ES and it made a noticeable difference but compared to the OEM bar that comes with it is there that much improvement?

There will be an improvement, though I don't know if any RA owners have done the swap. The stock bar is weak at both ends, and even with the third mount point, it's probably still not as stiff as a k-bar.

It would be such a tiny difference

Really not worth the money if you have the stock one.

The RA's front end doesn't need to be any stiffer, the back end needs help though, the 19mm sway bar helps so much.

i was thinking about going Rear Strut, Tie bar, and Sway bar with perches with Progress Springs... would all that make it handle like crazy or are some of the things not needed?

I would go with two options instead of all three on the rear. I'm doing the sway bar next I've already got the tie bar.

Sway bar and springs will make the most difference.

Yeah, I've done springs, sways and i'm probably going to get the tie bar later. But, the way it is now is a VAST improvement. Before the sway bar the back end felt like you had to DRAG it around a corner (like on a nice sweeping off ramp) and now it just follows. Plain and simple. Its awesome.

I got this on my Sportback: Progress Sway bar + Perches and the RRM Tie Bar. The wagon feels a lot better...even one of my friends that used to race circuit cars and has an Integra with some of the same mods loves my wagon handling. With those mods I took 3 seconds off of my best time at an Auto-X event (around 1:08:9xx 1st event /no mods/ to 1:05:9xx at the second event /w mods/)

I just ordered a set of Rota 16x7 +40 wheels in bronze, some good tires that I have to choose when I get them in two weeks and the progress springs (also Joe pulley just for the heck of it)....so lets see what time I will get the next time at the Auto-X.

The Front Sway bar and the stock strut bar are just OK. The only thing that I will change are the front sway bar rubber bushings...I will get some urethane ones for the front 26mm bar.

The cheapest and easiest mods to get the best handling are good tires and the sway bar/perches. After that, secondary mods will help a little (tie bar, better strut bar front, strut bar rear etc). See none of those things actually acts ON the suspesion, they just stiffen the chassis.
Most expensive thing to do would be going for 17s with good rubber and coilovers.

I noticed that from just the tiebar alone. I never thought I would have noticed it from a tiebar.
