even on my sportback ralliart i only use 93octane gas...and is a bit worst on gas that ralliart cars

 

Why are you using 93?

 

Unless you have a turbo or something under the hood of that sportback, you're just wasting your money on 93.

 

Don't turn this into another 93 vs 87 gas argument. There are plenty of other threads for that.

With what you've told us, I'd say go for the Evo.

A camel?? is it gonna pass inspection in NJ? im not really into convertibles anyways i know they got some torque but maybe like 2 hp...LOL

well im really more into the Show scene than the racing but obviosly if i get the Evo i got to spend some money in the Engine...and the Sportback i think got some potential if you put some money into it and get it out in the show scene and sponsors start to notice there is nothing like it on the scene...i have spend the whole day online looking at after market stuff for Evos and stuff for Ralliarts(we all know thats a joke,not much outthere) hmmm....how about a 2nd gen eclipse 4g63t into the ralliart? ill make thing easy i got a budget of aprox. 1600 a month to throw in the car til next years OC car show in ocean city MD... if i get the evo it might only be like 1300 depending on insurance rates....

 

i hear good things about llamas if your not into the whole camel thing. And the llama is low maintnence.. plus you can sell their wool for money.

Well i was looking at a car mag today and saw something interesting and decided to do a search and i guess it is true ...Lancer Evolution 9 Wagon! on sale in Japan now! Sep 05! maybe they bring this thing to the US!!

Evo's aren't what they are all hyped up to be. I mean don't get me wrong they DO have lots of potentail. But they're priced WAAAY to high for what they are. I myself am an EVO fan but this I've test driven these cars and did research and found out that an EVO would be nothing but an SRT-4 if it wasn't for AWD. I've seen an EVO get beaten by a N/A Honda hatchback! oh but OOOHHH BIG BAD EVO right??? what happened? Yeah sure it breaks off the line due to AWD but then what does it have? I would get an evo if I didn't have to put so much money int to it after spending all the money JUST to get one. you would think spending $30,000+ on a car you wouldn't have to worry about much. One of my buddy's buddy has an EVO and he just dropped a T-67 in that thing, and all kinds of other engine mods (not going to say so don't ask!). Has LOTS of lag, but he's GOONE on the high way when that thing spools up!!! I could get a Ralliart for $18,000 and put about $2000-$3000 into the engine and make it just as fast or even faster than an Evo. If I'd get the EVO for looks and put TV's in it and deck it all out, because people who usually get an EVO get it for speed and not for show. Do something different. If you want speed, I'd stick with the mivec and to save you $$$. Because with the help of a turbo with some electronics, you'll be suprised on how fast you'll go and how many cars you'll pass!

Oh, and I'd only put tv's in the passenger/driver head rest if you were going to do it... The back to it's like you're just paying for the guy behind you in traffic to watch your tv!

the stock evo recaros dont even have headrests brah.....so youd haveto go in dash or flip down

 

Get a house. Instead of pissing your money away on a faster better car you could invest it in the house, get it re-apraised, take out a second morage if you wanted to get the evo with lower interest rates (unless they still have 0%).
