Cerious CF Hood & Trunk
A while ago I got caught in a hail storm here in town and needed to get my car fixed. Instead of fixing the hood and the trunk though I opted to take the money from insurance and put it toward Cerious Performance's carbon fiber hood and trunk. I finally got my car back yesterday so myself and a friend did the install.

The Good
1. If you've never dealt with Cerious before call them. I was dealing with a guy named Will the whole time and Will took care of me. If I had question, problems or concerns Will was right there. If I left a msg for him I would get a call back that day or next morning. Products aside, Cerious is all about customer service
2. Fittment couldn't be anymore more dead on. Unbolt the stock hood and bolt in the new one 5 min install. The trunk was the same only it took a little longer because of the stock latches (they move ALOT on you). I know with the VIS hoods to get a perfect fittment on the RA you have to remove some of the shims inside of the fenders, Cerious is not like that at all.
3. Strength, call Will and ask him for the pdf that explains how they make their products. It's by a vacuum process, you'll be impressed trust me!
The Bad
1. Because of the process in making these you will get some pulls in the CF, cosmetically it is not flawless, but I guess thats what you give up to have a stronger built product.
2. On the trunk you will need to use your stock lock so you need to pull the whole unit off of your old trunk and put it on the new one. If your not mechanically inclined then this is a big job. It took two of us quite a while just to get the stock stuff off.
3. On the trunk where your left reverse light goes you are going to need to sand around the edge to make that light fit 100%. Super easy just take your time and use a 220 grit.
The Ugly
1. Because of the fit and finish of both the hood and trunk I have opted to spend all my money at Cerious. I have now just lost my house and my wife walked out on me becuase of all the money I have been spending. I hate you Cerious my life is ruined becuase of your wicked CF products... but my car never looked sooooooooo gooood
HAHA.

Wow! Looks amazing! I am glad you are happy with the product, I knew whoever would buy these would be.
Will is very helpful with everything, if you have any questions just call and talk to him.
Fitment does look great. Look at the curves of the trunk and the area around the headlights on the hood, very nice and tight finish.
Also, nice license plate, lol!

Looks killer... How about a full rear 3/4 view durring the day when you get a chance! I just want to see how the whole CF trunk + no wing looks with the rest of the body.
Were you joking about the wife thing?
