? For Anyone With DVD In-Dash System

Is there anyway that you can download a movie on iMesh-Limewire-Morpheus-and so forth and be able to burn it to a cd in either wma or mpeg format? I think mpeg format is video, or is that picture? But anyway.. Would you need some kind of a converter program to change the type of file, or would you just need a DVD Burner to do this? Ive already done a search and found nothing having todo with my question, only troubleshooting and so on. Thanks for any info...

Kinda depends what your original source file is?! If it's already an .mpg (mpeg layer 2) you're ready to go, since this is the standard DVD format.

If it's an .avi, most likely it's a DIVX file. Assuming you DVD player won't play these, then you can use NeroVision Express to re-encode the file to a DVD compliant .mpg.

The easiest way is to take an actual DVD and rip it with DVD Decrypter, then use DVD Shrink (both of which are free by the way) to re-encode the movie and burn with Nero. Clone DVD2 is also a good program for encoding/burning DVD's.

If your dvd can read VCD's or SVCD's, thats how you wanna burn your movie to cd.

You could covert them to Dvd video(mpeg2). If you want to get fancy there are programs out there that allow you make somewhat professional menus also.

Don't forget the CF helmet and CF helmet spoiler
I know this is way off topic but i went rafting in TN and the guide had a CF helmet that looked like a baseball cap. It looked pretty cool.

I have a kenwood kvt-715, pretty sure thats what it is..Is there a way to get more interactive menu's...My friend has a tv, and he isnt as nice as mine, but he's got like moving menu screens and all that..Is there something you can buy to hook up to the brain to give you different menu's screens....r3z0nate is that what your talking about the proffessional menus? If so is there a website for this explaining stuff you can do with these indash tvs..
