Anyone one know the wiring diagram for the stereo on an 05 Ralliart. Need to do a Stereo swap and need to know what color wires do what. Thanks.

The best I can tell you is to get a harness to mate up with it. Do you have the Infinity system?

 

Your power wires should all be standard color (ie red, black, red/yellow) or at least look obviously different from your speaker wires. To test which speaker wires are which take a SMALL (AA or something with low power) battery and touch one end of the two speaker wires to each side. You should be able to here the speaker pop in and out as you touch the wires. I am assuming you needed help with the wires under the seat where the amp plugs in, since that is the only place with speaker wires in the car. The only thing in the dash is power for the radio, an antenna wire, and the din plug going from the head unit to the amp under the seat.
If you don't have sun and sound package then you should definitely go to circuit city and spring for the adapter harness like Joe suggested. hell, they have a harness now that converts the din cable to RCA jacks so you can hook it up like an aftermarket amp/receiver anyway, so I didn't even need to do all the work I did when I put my system in.

 

theres a diagram in the forums somewhere...i remember seeing it and printing it when i did my audio system

 

what ever you do, don't touch the yellow wire ok. that is the air bags, you don't want them to deploy on you...

 

By stereo do you mean installing a deck, if so you need an adapter if you have the infinity system.

 

what does the "front ecu tail's relay do exactly? I'ce started to wire the unit up, it looks like it gets a quick blip of power then dies off. Anyone know what can cause this? And will a metro wiring harness for an 03 lancer work? because they dont list one for an 04 or 05.
