yes or no?!?

winter is coming up, so i have to take of my old rims & tires, and put the stocks back on for now...

i have a TG ralliart, as in my avatar, and i was wondering if i should paint the stock rims black?

ill probably be getting a cf hood in the next 2 weeks, hopefully, and i have jdm headlights... once i go back to stock, the rims will look a little funny.. i know they would match better if painted black..

so what do u guys think? should i do it?

if so, what paint would be the best to use? thnxxx

I don't know if it'd be worth it just for the winter tires... Because if you get a lot of snow/crap weather the paint might start to chip as well!

I wouldn't, especially if you will trade your car in like you said.

I'd leave them stock. Winter will beat the hell out of any paint you spray on them, and painting them two years from now will make them look even worse.

Paint them. Look at Azure's rims, which I think are a fine example. Just clear coat them multiple times.

What size are your other rims? if they're 16's why not just change the tires on your stock rims to your aftrermarket ones? Stock tires are all seasonal.

Powdercoat or professionnal (paint gun) job... or nothing at all. Rims + winter = crap.

Quite frankly, I'd leave them right as they are if I were in your place... but it's your call.

Some people have tons of money burning holes in their pocket and have the need to blow it on something.

Honestly I really don't see the point in doing anything to your rims if you already konw they are going to get ruined. Why not go with some steelies that you know can't be hurt. But as I stated before, if you REALLY feel the need to paint them do it right and have them powdercoated.
