Which tranny fluid are you using? I saw two different possibilities listed on RP's website. One was GL4/GL5 synthetic gear oil, the other was "manual transmission fluid" for trannies that specify engine oil or ATF.

I was thinking about trying RP out.

Thanks for the info... I was wondering which one offered the best friction protection. Since one is more expensive than the other, would you say they both offer a good value for the price or should we buy RP?

i used RP after my first oil change... offer slightly better gas milege than M1.

I like plain ol Pennzoil 10w30 and it works great, I used royal purple in my turbocharged eclipse, and I honestly didnt recognize a thing. Heck, I even know a girl who uses the same oil i do and she has an 03 Evo. Not too wise on her part.

It might be psychosomatic, but I swore I felt the car just moving better when I switched to synthetic.

Its all in your head. Like the "performance" feeling you get when you put on a high flow air filter for instance.

I gotta disagre with ya there blk... K&N's made a noticeable difference, especially on my wife's OZ.
