Don't get ahead of yourself. Life is more expensive than you think. A house, marriage, and kids will suck up 34K like it's nothing. Our family income is over 10K a month. When I was 18 I couldn't imagine making that much. Now that I do make it I'm 31 and spending extra money on the EVO means less for the house and savings. I'm just saying that by the time you're a master technician your priorities will change. Don't buy a car so expensive that you'll have to live somewhere it will probably get stolen.
Having said all that, it's better to get a car that's fast out of the box. The quality and resale are higher.

The Ralliart is a good choice, and the WRX isn't bad either. Don't go too nuts with your car now tho, because trust me, you're gonna beat the **** out of it over the next few years, and you want something that will last. When you're making those bucks you'll be making in 3-4 years, that's when you get the sports car.

Actually, with your avatar maybe the SE-R Spec V might be a good choice too. Fun cars.

I'm not looking to get hitched until im at least 26, 27. I'm living with my parents and I will be seeing as im the last child and my mom is afraid to let go, so for me, the first few years wont really phase me because the only bills i'll have to pay are car and insurance, thankfully.

screw the other cars.. you don't live in FL or CA.. haha but yea i'm in the middle of NE and i have driven a MR2, a Taurus GL wagon, Taurus SHO, Maxima, and a Crown Vic in the past in all seasons and i must say other than the Taurus the others didn't do so well in the snow, the maxima was pretty good but the Vic and the MR2 were horrid even with sandbags and snow tires... But i mean that's Boston for ya, I say get the RA mod them and beat the other cars.... haha that or the RSX-s isn't a bad looking car right now.. possibly even the new eclipse. Keep looking around, you'll find something that you like and it practical..
