That's more like proof that you ARE on crack.

Turn on the key, and then hit the recirculate button on your HVAC controls. I bet your "Star Wars" door opens again.

But that's not how you take the filter out. All you need to do is remove two screws and pull. I found a pile of bugs, rocks, and dead leaves in mine.

+1 on the crack.

Last time I pulled my filter I just blew it off with some canned air. I'm really not all that concerned about how clean the air coming into my car is.

well guys your help was great including our friend crack vader (cf-ninja) i found a ton of dirt, bugs , chewaka hair ,leias hair and one of Lukes Skywaker laser guns on the filter .I think they were practicing for the next war . happy lots of you found the filter . it will keep you healthier.

lol. Glad you guys got a good laugh out of my analogy. The first time i saw the thing starwars was the first thing that came to mind. I didnt know about taking those screws out to get the filter out.
BTW. where did you find the carbon filter to replace yours. I also have asthma and the mildew from the air system bugs me.

Or make yourself one using the filters body w/o the filter paper and using a carbon act. panel from home depot ( less than 20.00 )and theres more product to make 5 to 6 more filters! take a look at the evo thread
