i always thought that noise was an automatic antenna bc it sounds just like our other cars but then i remember it doesnt have one...
has anyone noticed that other noise the ac makes when youv had it running for awile? its a little psshhhh sound that goes slow and lasts about 3 secconds, very faint, but it makes me car sound like a spacechip

That's the gas going back through the cooling core. When the A/C is on for awhile, it has to shut off from time to time to defrost, just like your home refrigerator.

I called theh dealer and they said the air filter is an option on the ES and OZ!!! He said I could get it for the low price of $60,,,,, ha I said nope! I stuck some filter medium in there myself that sould work fine hahaha
I did the DIY dust and pollin filter today. It works great. I found a furnis filter at Home Depo
that doesn't have the wire mesh. I just cut the filter to fit, removed the paper part of the old filter with the inner plastic supports and attached my cut out piece. I'm glad I read this thread. It saved me $50.
