Hey, ouch on some of the comments.

I needed a car with space cause I have a family. It's miles ahead of a SUV or Mini Van. I wanted something with lots of room for stuff but was fun to drive. It gets to be a short list, trust me.

I like the long low look of it. But everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

That car is hot dude ... most wagonns need to be fixed up just right... Hell the lancer looks lame in complete stock form... ie. you must at least drop it!

 

There arent too many with your taste, i can count all the ralliart sportback owners on these forums on one hand. If it werent for the horrendous taillights it wouldnt be so bad.

 

BLKRalliart04.....then why the new Evo Wagon has the same taillights?
Also there are more that 8 Sportback owners on this forums...so you need both hands!!!

Down here in PR (100x35 miles island) I see about from 4 to 6 every week....seems that we have the biggest population of Sportbacks per Square mile in North America!

 

The new Evo wagon IMHO is still ugly, even if it does have the over 100 more horsepower.

 

Only seen one SB in person ever. Saw it yesterday.

 

Have only seen 1 SB in Omaha and as far as RA, never seen one other then mine. Better to have a SB than a mini van! Snowey1

 

I did see one sportback last fall, a black one, and the only time I've seen one in person. If they had a manual tranny, I'd own one. The tail light issue can easily be remedied by covering them with smoked vinyl.

Man if i knew they had a sportback when i was lookin' into a RA i'da definitely gotten one. Limo tint the windows, drop the rims i have on my car right now and toss a custom sub setup in the back. The only problem is that i think they're all auto.. but hey, it'd be a good daily driver to roll in. I need the space too, my bike don't fit in the trunk too easily.

I think the sportbacks are OK... I like the wrx wagons better in comparison. But i really havent seen that many before, maybe like 3.

As a side note, I did tint it, I did add a system, and my list of mods is getting too extensive to bother listing anymore...turbo soon. I want the only sportback like it in existance.

WOAH!!! I just saw my first tonight, it was so weird, because I didn't think there were any in the states, so I assumed it was an EVo IX Sportback, and started to taunt the guy to see what was under the hood so to speak. . .well, not really taunt, but tail, nevertheless, it's I guess NA eh? snore. . .

 

Damn that is one sexy sportback Love the accolade kit on there! I would have loved one of those in the first place but you can't get them in 5spd. Too bad. On lancernation.net my pal CC has a nice silver one. Im jealous. I thought the ralliart was supposed to be limited numbers in the first place. Kinda pissed at that fact. Everyone has one up here and Im gettin mad. Not gonna sell it but all these wanna be ricer boys buyin them that get other people to do work on their car. Sissy's are afraid to get there hands dirty!! Anyways strayin away from Topic........
