I deleted your two other threads because you could just ask them all in one thread.
yes you can add a bypass valve to an injen intake. And if you search you can find pics of people who have installed their intakes.

It's very easy to install the CAI yourself. I pmed you my cell so if you need any help, but I'd suggest doing it yourself. The AEM Cai I believe you have to cut for the bypass valve but the Injen one can be used without cutting. Good luck and a shop shouldnt charge more than 45 for an install... with as easy and as little time as it takes. Pay some kid in your neighborhood 10 if you don't feel like doing.. it's that easy.

Someone with little to no experience could do it, its pretty easy, especially with all the how-tos out there.

Kinda funny, on the radio today the hosts were talking about changing a headlight, would you pay someone to change a light bulb in your house? Changing carbulbs are sometimes easier.

all you need is a facking screwdriver. and maybe a 10inch socket to take out the airbox. but come on! changing oil is harder than installing a cai.

It fits right between the upper and lower portion. It'll be obvious when you look at it.

its easy but you may have to drill a hole in the splash guard but pretty much self explanatory

do you think that a bypass valve is worth having, i know water will get into your engine your screwed. but if you don't plan on going threw water and it's only just normal rain out there ?? i'm from nj and it's pretty average rain here, but a month or so ago it rained for about week straight or more maybe like 12days anyway raining like that will it make to to the point where your filter will be wet and does not have a chance to dry it could cause a probelm, i was on the highway and it was raining pretty hard and my car lost all it's throttle i was pushing the gas all the way down and it was'nt doing anything, i pulled over and the rpm were up to like 2500 but same way i pushed down the gas and nothing?????? i turned the car off for about 2mins then started it , it was normal??????
atmsanchez i hope i did'nt hijack your thread but i thought that this kinda had something to do with what you were talking about, if i did i'm sorry

The bypass might help, I went with a sri because the winters and some flash flooding I've driven in this summer. Plus the price was right.

I have the AEM w/Bypass Valve. I live down in the bayou and it always rains here. Very easy to install, only problem I had was a stripped screw on my MAF that sucked. The intake cutting is easy, just use a mitre box, clamp, towel, and hack saw. If you buy this one and have any questions, just PM me.
