What i have noticed...
I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this topic but, sorry 
While reading through fourms; here, some honda fourms, srt4 etc etc. Lancer people are relitivley(sp?) smart. While reading through them, they are some very very unintelligent people. It sucks to say but, we have some on this fourm. But WOW, outside of here is like a completly diffrent world. They have there fair share of intellegent people but...yikes... Dunno thought i would share my findings

Well, you must keep something in mind. There are maybe 2000 Ralliarts in the country, perhaps 1/4 of those are on these forums and into modding (500). There are about 500,000 Civics out there, and let's say the same amount are into modding, so 125,000.
Let's say 10% of the modding community are immature idiots. For us, that's only 50 people. For the Hondas, that's 12,500.
That should explain it.

It's just an example. Only way I could think of to find out would to be call MMNA and ask. There were maybe 2000 sportbacks made, and to this point there are probably around 10,000 Ralliarts out there (among the US, Canada, and PR). However, based on what I see around here, that's probably a high estimate.

But yea, most of the tuners i know are fairly smart overall, except for a few. Maybe the lancer tuning business appeals toward a more "sophisticated" level of people? then again i'm a dumb a$$ so i'm definitely a part of that 50 count.

Yeah I wouldnt go as far as saying Lancer owners are "more intelligent", its just the less intelligent ones dont post as often. We are not more sophisticated either, it just seems that way since there arent as many of us to come off as stupid. Trust me, I get a lot of people pm'ing me asking me questions that are pretty self explanatory but they are just afraid to post for fear they will get harassed for asking a simple question. (Lets just say that I get nearly 15 Pm's a day from different people asking me stuff) There are only a handful of people who really know what they are talking about when it comes to our cars, which include otter, Myskewicz, mojambo and a few others. I mean there are a LOT of intelligent members, but what otter said is right, there are 500 times more honda owners than lancer owners, so you are going to get a mixed bag on those forums. Wow this post went on really long.

Lol,well said. I'd say most younger kids want a honda to mod as their first car, hence the more immature posting. As far as I know most ralliarts are owned by older people that wanted a good all around car and I don't doubt the few sales they have had.
I don't hang out on other forums but I know from my experiences that alot of people that mod imports, or want to, don't know much about them or don't really care to know much about them outside of what they learned in a movie.

Before I bought my ralliart I searched forums for about 5 different cars, what I found on every forum was (with the exception of this and a corolla xrs forum) was a few people who wanted to mod thier car and have a little fun joking around on the net. and a lot of people posting complete B.S. or just being rude. I won't name car forums but some of them turned me off from buying the car because if I had a noob question most of the time I was called and idiot where I noticed here you get a straight answer.
