In a TSD event mods don't really mean anything.

Mojambo you need to inform everyone how these rallies work

You can do these TSD's on city streets. I've been in a few with my dads Mini Club as a navigator and driver both really fun. If your looking to test your cars limits this isn't for you.

My Mom and Dad did a few of these when he had his Stealth. They had a lot of fun doing it, it's the joy of racing without the risk of destroying your car.

For those who think the car is not going fast...well you were not there. I can tell you that the vid looks slow cause I was driving smooth. Also, in the tight stuff in the corners I was doing about 60-85km per hour and on stretches about 100km at times. I was doing some big slides, but this does not happen all the time for every corner, there is no need for it. But at junctions, I'd throw it sideways. more vids to come. Think about the gears and when I was at the top of second shifting into 3rd. thats about 95kmh. The videos don't do the speed justice.

whats is tsd:

Also a good link... TSDroadrally.com Mojambo, how is your suspension setup working for you when doing the rallies? I want to upgrade my suspension from stock in the near future and want to get some ideas.

For gravel and snow, Stock is a great setup. You only really need an upgrade if you find the car is too low and if you're bottoming out. I had the TEIN basics for the gravel. They were great, but the are made for tarmac. If your looking for a suspension upgrade for rally. Call TEIN and get a custom valve setup and custom spring rates. They could easily do this for you and it would not cost too much more than the original price. I thought about this, but I'll go stock for winter and use TEINS basics for summer and gravel. 80 bucks for alignment in spring and in fall....160 per year....I do the labour myself. plus less mileage on the TEINS so no need for overhaul anytime soon.

It seems fitting that slow traffic would be a Sunfire... It must be very stressful to run at speed on that kind of roads with such a poorly handling car...

Looks like alot of fun to do along with rally racing. 60mph isn't too slow when you consider the roads you are on. It might not be the wrc but it is still fun

I agree... it looks like one of the most fun thing to do with your daily driver without taking too much risk. Since most people on here are not rich as$ kids who got handed down a RalliArt or even an EVO, it's good to know that such events exists and that they are designed taking these factors into consideration.

Still, I wonder if my insurance company would pay for damage incurred while using the car for any kind of racing event whatsoever...

Since they are on public roads I would imagine they would. They don't know that you were in a rally. You also obey traffic laws so I can't see why not.
