Question bout Oil

Ive had the ralliart for a few yrs now. I was wondering if u switch oils , lets say synthetic to non-synthetic(provided by the dealer).

Like every 2k miles, you switch from synthetic then the next 2k miles to non-synthetic. Would it damage the engine or would it cause any problems in the future?

1) You haven't had the RA for a few years... since they started making them in 04
2) I'm not sure why you would do this, and I don't think it would damage it, but why? Might as well just put a blend in if you are going to do that.

If you plan on changing your oil every 2K miles, don't even think of wasting your money and using synthetic.

Dude, he could have easily bought his car this time in 03 since they usually roll out new cars in the summer/winter of the previous year. Simple math would say 2005(now) - 2003(then)= 2 (a couple years). No need to be an .

Anyways.

No it wont hurt your engine, but synthetic is designed to last longer so you shouldn't have to change your oil every 2k miles. Even with regular oil you shouldn't have to change your oil every 2k. I just put a synthetic blend in and change it every 3k miles and this works fine.
