RA's first snow experience
RA's first snow experience
i had to get up this morning at 5 to go to work. the roads sucked but my RA made it all the way to work on stock wheels and tires, my car slipped a little but i made it without running my car into a tree
i wish i had an evo though
but i still like my RA

I got that same snow storm you got, if you even wanna call it a storm. I have the bridgestone re-950's and I tore through the snow like no other. Oh and for all of those who want an RA, LOOK HERE http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MESE%3AIT&rd=1

That's the nice thing about the coil-overs....you can put the rear height higher than stock and it really helps to stop that.

the old people i bought this car off of were asking 1600 (blue book 3200, they just never checked), but it needed a wheel bearing (a major PITA on these cars, and the reason the back tire is worn more) and an o2 sensor. so i talked em down to 1300 and fixed it up. Cost me about 150 total to fix. This car will drive through anything. I spent the fall months driving on trails through the woods. I never thought mud on a little 4door car would look so good, but i was wrong.

Snow's no biggie...although I must say the stock tires are somewhat lacking, oh well, next maybe I'll find some cash to get to winter ones.
If you want fun in snow, get some rear-wheel drive, my first car, a Merkur Scorpio was the best winter car ever, and currently other one parked for the rest of winter was pretty fun too, but not too much as the clutch is pretty much gone and I'm still waiting for the new to come in. it's an '88 Merkur XR4TI
