the impedance of our injectors is 10-13ohms right?
so; if our injection system is saturated and not peak and hold:
could it be posible to do a mod usually done on hondas to put dsm injectos.. meaning puting a "resistor" or a resistor "box" so the injectors work properly...?
theorically can this be done on our cars..?
heres the thing:
i allready have a set of injectors installed on mine
but this if for another proyect and i have them lying arround my home, there 1g dsm wich are low impedance... the infamous 450 blue tops and am weary to just cut the **** out of a brand new harness... any suggestions?
hope this is not too complicated... lol

i dont know but they are just not answering the phone... but im on it...
to get there in person is a day's trip since they are on the other side of the island
measure resistance of the new injector... then add a resister in line to the source wire that will increase the resistance to what is needed. Most use a 10ohm resister standard.
I've done this on other cars before and never had any issues at all.

A lot of the cheap Mirage guys do this.... get one of those 99 cent resistors from Radio Shack and wire them inline with the injectors or you can get the infamous "Honda black box" which is just a resistor box that does the same thing.

Hoped this helped your question.
thx to all.. i talked to the guy and told him about the posibility of cutting the harnes and he looked at me like.. "no fking way.." that was hilarious...
but thx again for answering...

Resistence dictates when and how an injector fires. Low impedence injectors don't take a lot of voltage to fire and are typically setup as "peak and hold." That means that the ECU sends a burst of voltage (around 4v) to the injector to turn it on, then another burst to turn it off. A high impedence injector, like what we have, takes a larger amount of voltage to fire, and works via "saturation." that means that, once the injector recevies a signal at 10+ volts, it sprays fuel until that voltage drops.
