Hello. I have a question to Ralliart owner with turbo timer.
I have Evo with turbo timer and when it's cold outside, I turn on my car, take the key off, let it run with turbo timer, and use the keyless to lock the door. My keyless still works.
I'm planning to get my gf a remote starter. I'm wandering if the keyless still works for the Ralliart when the engine is running without the key in the ignition. (like my turbo timer) I know the keyless doesn't work when the key is still in the ignition.
I was wondering if I should get the remote that can override the stock remote. She doesn't mind having two remotes, one for keyless and one for remote starter.
Someone help.

Power door locks will still work with the car on and instead of getting only R/S, get them both at any auto electronics store. keep in mind if you are going to get it install by a professional, they may not want to install the R/S in manual vehicle.

Get the remote start with the keyless....basically replacing your stock remote. I used to sell and install these and it is much easier and there are less problems with having just 1 remote. Spend the extra $50 or so to hook up the keyless with the remote start....probably the best move you can make.
Remote start and turbo timer are entirely different animals. Everything still works with a remote start (keyless, trunk pop, alarm, etc.), and most can be integrated into the remote start system.
