who is tellin me the truth

ok i have a problem. i backed my ra into a wall at about fifteen mph.... (one too many coronas) but anyways the body damage was pretty bad but not so awful... anyways i also had to take off my muffler cause it got damaged too... so here is my question because im getting mixed messages from all my friends.... i spent all my extra cash on the deductible at the body shop problem is that for some reason they didnt fix my missing muffler..... only the body damage!!!! its gonaa be about three weeks and ill be able to just put a new exhaust on my car(i was going to anyways) but is it gonna hurt my car driving it without the muffler for a few weeks until i get the exhaust or is it just extra loud for the time being

You had a few too many beers, backed your car into a wall, and NOW you're concerned for your car's well-being?

You're probably not even old enough to drink.

driving without a muffler won't do any harm to your car...but it's illegal and will probably be pretty loud...so be prepared to get pulled over by the cops :P

It's gonna be super-loud. Dude even if u try to drive very conservative, ur jus gonna end up paying more MONEY in the end... tickets for drivin without an exhaust and noise pollution, who else knows wat the po-po will add.

First off driving sports cars while drunk shows serious lack of common sense and intellect. As far as the no muffler thing goes I think the guys pretty much covered it. Unless your WAY the hell away from town and there are not cops around I wouldn't recomend it. Cop could give ya 3+ tickets per time you get pulled over and that will add up WAY faster than your exhaust and insurance deductable.

Not that it really matters, but the RA isn't much of a "sports" car. Check the roads; most people you will find in them are older women. But that's neither here nor there. Just wanted to comment.

Just a small pet peeve of mine.......
Don't drive drunk and you won't have these problems.
Probably the dumbest post I have ever seen. Asking advice after damaging a car while driving intoxicated. You are lucky that you 1) did not get hurt or killed 2) did not hurt or kill anyone else 3) get arrested for DUI.

Anyone who drives intoxicated deserves all the damage to the car that they get. Good luck and next time call a cab. Just my .02.
