i make a order in september for a new front lip for my car from accolade. they said it would be six weeks before it gets to the US . well i got a email, about 2 or 3 weeks ago saying its in the US and it will be shiped soon . seens then ive email wanting to know what up with no luck . this morning i check the web page and saw a 1 800 # . i tryed calling all day with no luck at all it just said all lines are busy all day . thats crazy . i wanted to have my car fixed by x-miss but thats not going to happen.

what should i do ?

 

You're probably going to have a hard time getting a hold of them right now. Try again next week after Christmas is over.

 

email shipments@body-kit.com its been shipped but its chaos with all the carriers, but it did went fedex. its so busy right now with the holidays so all transit times are being delayed.

 

Seems posting here worked pretty well then, case closed!

 

fedex and ups guys where i work say that anything oversized is gunna backed up until after the hoildays because its difficult to load all the stuff onto the trucks with oversized loads

 

like they cant predict this problem every year... dumb delivery companies...

 

they aren't dumb... I'm sure that body kit isn't being shipped second day like the majority of the holiday traffic. They have to meet the deadlines of second day air or overnight. Therefore they must pack the trucks as efficient as possible.. Having a giant body kit box takes up the room of about 6 or 7 boxes. Therefore your standard frieght shipped box must wait in line behind everything being shipped priority.

 

It's not about predicting the problem, it's about being able to keep up with the volume of express packages. They're prioritized over fiberglass ricer lips.

 

all i know is my room meet order this big *** camra case about a week ago and that thing is like 15 lbs and big as heck . and he got it on thursday night. it about 1 1/2 feet high,2 foot long ,and 1foot wide. all i order front lip that cant be more them a few lds and not longer then four feet.

 

I work for Fedex and the only way to garuantee a package to arrive as quickly as possible is priority overnight - thru - express saver(3days most).

If it was sent Fedex ground there is no definate delivery commitments. i cant speak for fedex freight as i have no experiance with them.

Im not trying to bash on accolade but they are know for slow shipping and being hard to get in contact with, amongst other things.

besides if it was fedexed get your tracking number. pm me with it and i can find out the last place it was touched, and by whom......i love our internal tracking system.
