I kinda agree. No sense making it look like an Evo if it's not an Evo or up to par. And you can try hard but a RA will never be on par (suspension). But it's your car, your decision. If anything go with the one painted black.

First off, the VG is a factory option on the 2006 Ralliart, so no point in spouting off "It's not an Evo" crap. Get over it, it's not your car.

On a black car I would paint match it.

True. But they could just be trying to sell more VGs, wether they work or not on another car. Or let me rephrase that, wether it will benefit a FWD Ralliart. Just like those grounding kits which I now think are pointless. Still, go for it, can't hurt.

I'd say paint it black. I only do the carbon if I was planning on a carbon fiber hood & or trunk/spoiler.

Where did you get your VG and how much? I am in Canada as well, and am looking into picking one up.

I got it from my dealership they shipped it in for me on a bulk order so shipping was free and if I recall correctly it was about $250cdn plus tax.. so kinda pricey. But I bought it for the looks. It came in a nice pearly black almost gunmetalish finish with little flakes in it. Install was about 5 minutes. Just becareful not to break the tabs in the weather strip.
