chattering @ idle?? valves maybe?
just wondering if anyone else hears a chattering coming from under their hood when the car is idling? it sounds like noisey valves... will the rrm pulley fix this?

Check your valve lash if you haven't done so already. Are you sure it's not just the sound of the injectors firing?

i had a faulty downpipe on mine from the factory, rattled and chattered, under warranty. started to do it around 15k. could also be clutch chatter (throwout bearing), but id bet my money on the downpipe.

There's a how-to about it in the how-to section.

You're supposed to check/set your valve lash every 30k miles. I'll be due again in late February.

my downpipe sounds like a morroca with metal ***** inside. does that affect anything?????or is it just noise.
