Projectors in Australia

Hi everyone, I'm new around here, I'm from Australia. I love all the stuff you guys can get in the US I'm just wondering does anyone know if any companies ship projectors to Australia, secondly would the US ones work on the Aus RA (CH), thirdly is there anyone in Australia that you might know of who sells Projectors?

Regards Matty

Well, you didn't have anyone reply to this post, so I thought I'd be the first. It looks like nobody in here knows the answers to your questions, but here are some suggestions: I would try checking with your dealership to see if the US spec projectors will fit your car. I think they should, but I'm not positive. Secondly, you can try contacting the sellers on ebay to see if they will ship to Australia. I'm thinking they will, but again, I'm not positive. Also, you can contact www.partstrain.com. They also sell the projectors. You can check with them to see where they will ship. Anyway, hope this helps. Post if you have any other questions.

Depend on what type of bulb you use? H4 or 9007?
If H4 (most lancer in asia/europe is using h4) then you will need to mod the wiring if you buy the projector from the US, if yours is 9007 which will be just plug & play if buy from US!
If your stock bulb are H4, you can buy direct from Asia since they all using H4 so it's plug & play if you buy from Asia

Have to agree with you there Ryan the lights on our cars are by far the best I have ever had and I know what you are saying about blinding the roos have made a couple of late night runs from the Plex to Australind and I have seen so many sitting on the side of the road I think if I had been driving the CE I would of never seen them.... but if you have to have prjectors then take the plunge and buy a set from ebay test them out if they do fit and all looks good get some sealant and seal them up I have in past used an epoxy resin and I have never had any problems

Unfortantly yes.
Around the city there isn't any, but the further you go towards the country away from the cities to more you see, especially at dusk and dawn. I come from a Country city and work out of town at an airport. Unfortantly I encountered a roo in my previous car, a CE one night, did quite alot of damage. I hope to never encounter one again, we do however have alot of foxes and rabbits as well.

Regards Matt
