Well, not quite yet. We need this to gain a little interest first and plan it out. ALOT of planning. But heres the basic idea...

First off, NO Evo's. Repeat NO Evo's. You guys have enough shows and glory, let us lancers step into the lime light for once.

So heres the plan. With help (hopefully) from Evom.net, RRM, and/or RIPP we get as many lancers/ralliarts on the east coast (or west) and go down to Atlantic City, South New Jersey. We plan out a date in August/early September and we rent every motel room in a hole building (or 2, or however we need). All weekend long, car shows, party, gambling, car shows, girls in bikinis on the beach, parties, and girls on the beach... did i miss anything out?


well this is just a very undetailed outline of what could be a very fun weekend... ideas and suggestions are welcome. This is gonna be a pretty big thing so gonna need alot of help settting this up. I'm not gonna be the only way setting this up (it would be impossible) so i would love to have help from Ripp or evom.net (rrm is on the west coast, so i expect little help/interest from them)

well like i said... just a cool idea i came up with.... what do u guys think?

My cousin works at the Taj Mahal. She does the comps for high rollers. I'll talk to her and see about her hooking up a large group with rooms. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, especially considering there would be a nice amount of people.

 

sounds great!!!! that's a perfect time frame too! I will for sure be there if this happens. Now I have another reason to hurry back to the states!!!

 

id be down but it would be more interesting if it was more than just the fwds....seems like we are the ones who always back out and the evos know how to throw a get together and plus they are usually the ones who can afford somehting liek that...but anyways id be interested consdierign i try frequenting there as much as possible

 

yea i picked that time of year by your request only..... i wanted to do it early july, but since you were the first person to mention a date, i went by whatwas best for you... your welcome lol...

yea good idea and good lookin out w/ them rooms at taj mahal, but unless she gets a GREAT disount, the rooms might be a little pricey, not to mention this has potential to be HUGE... what if we have 100 seperate lancers coming? well the little hampster in my head started running in his wheel and this is what he came up with...

IF, and ONLY IF this gauges the absolute interest of 20+ lancers, and some mods, i will go to atlantic city and talk to the owners of a couple of decent, but not to expensive hotel buildings down there. i'll say hey guys in a car club wanna come and rent the hole building from you end of augest (whatever date we decide). i get there billing infomation and how much a room will cost for 3 days, 2 nights, and make sure the building is completly vacant for the weekend. than with 2 months, everybody who wants to go sends there money to the hotel guy (not me) and get your room.....

like i said... this was only an idea, and its my first time doing something like this..... does this sound like a good idea???

keep in mind i refuse to touch anybodys money, im not gonna be dealt that type of responsibility lol ... you send the money to the hotel guy or to whoever wants to sponser this mess lol....

yea the evo guys deff. have the experience and they know how to throw it down lol... but i dont want them to show up and the BAM its an evo car show.... not at all. i dont want to see a 4g63 anywhere, i want the lancers to come on down and have a good time, and not being worried bout beingbullied by any big brother evos... the es/oz's can hang w/ there clique and the ralliarts will FINALLY be the bullies haha nah jk i just dont want to see an evo there, they are in a class of there own lol

 

wait wait wait, let me say something....

the only evo's allowed are the mods of evom.net. lol

i only say this cuz i want to meet as many mods as i can (if they want to come) and would like as much support from evom.net as possible, but i dont want it to turn into a bloody evo show... can i get an amen?

 

Given this much advance, it's possible for me to coordinate this trip with a friend of mine who has friends and family in the NY/NJ area, but a late August/Early September time frame is really pushing it; I could be more confident with an early to mid August timeframe; I will be starting my last semester to my MIS degree in late August, and I absolutely, positively will not miss even a day of classes to be on vacation. I've been on the 4 year plan for 7 years now and I'm sick of it.

 

well if has to be in augest... the end of augest is best because A) I turn 21 and B) Sema or Nopi or something is having a carshow in that area, not sure but im gonna look into it

i guess the date is still under debate, but augest is probly the best. itll give people all spring and summer to hookup/tune there rides

 

I get a free room down there everytime I go, but then again I'm family. I will talk to her this weekend and bounce some numbers off her. You have to remember that when you are dealing with a casino their main focus is to get you into the casino. They don't make their money off their rooms, they make them off people gambling. That's why they will continuously give you free stuff (including rooms) while you are there. They want you to stick around and put some more money in their slots. I'm pretty sure she could hook up a really nice deal, especially if their is a large group.

 

I would love to go to something like that, but my only problem with that is it's too far away. It's like 13-14 hours away, and it would turn a weekend thing into 3 days there and 2 days driving. Which wouldn't work too well since I'll have classes goin on in August. But if I was closer, I would definately be up for something like that.

 

alright cool man see what you can do, work your magic. if that dont work i'll try my plan, or maybe we'll get so many lancers together we may need to use both .....

and on a side note, i just wanna say carlton banks is the man...

yea distance is a b*tch, but hey think of it as a once a year thing, a 1/2 week vacation..., 1/2 day drive, 3 days chill, 1/2 day drive home

 

yo thats a great idea, lets get this started . the sooner every one respons the better that why you can get a definet count to get this thing hoppin. what ever hotel that decides to give us a shot will want a definet head cout before they do any thing , i for one am more than ready!
