lookn forward to this flux capacity with the mr. fusion kit.... funny stuff..... i got all the RRM mods from the manifold to the flywheel, and i expect 180whp and 185 wtq ... i raced a modded civic hatchback runnin 14.3's all day and i beat him by 3+car lengths so its worth the money considering we are 15.2 stock.... turbo is in the mail tho fellas

I know I bent fallowing the TURBo buy group, I was one off them , But for work reasons I had to cancel my order, I convinse my self that I will be ok spending only about $1800 and that is what I'm doing for now to work situation gets better, now back to HP all this mods on my signature you said it will bring me close to the 180 WHP?, I was hopping more like high 190

ill say about 170-180 thats pretty good i think, thats mid to low 15's here and mid to low 14's at see level. RRM said that they are pertaining to n/a now and making it a 13sec so i think thats pretty coo. thats just puttin a turbo on, so if you can put these mods on and alittle more and still under 4200 than coo. now just think some of these mods have to go if you want turbo, but if you go SC than most of your money didn't go out the door. if you understand what i mean.

damn... the more I read this thread the more im about to spend 1500-2000$ on N/A mods..

I thought I'd sell the car before summer (for something like an s2000, g35 etc..I need propulsion ) but since my money is going somewhere else ( buying myself an appartment building ) I might just end up buying parts for the car. Also, selling the car after 2 years is quite a big fat loss of money..like 7-9g's .. ouch!

So theres like a 95% probability I'll put 1500-2000$ on the car in the next months to get ready for summer. I was thinking about Complete RRM exhaust system + RRM CAI to start with. Perhaps a piggyback added to this would optimize my gains but im afraid it will void my warranty if anything happens. :/

the piggyback will void the warrenty but bolt on parts should be a problem. but if you do piggy than when it comes to wires and sensors, lights, computer probs than thats voided but you still have other parts of the car thats still covered.

The way I look at this is , The Service manager is very-cool ( he drives a EVO) so is long is not a major problme I'm ok, and if it comes to a major isue with car I will just take all the bolt -on and the piggy , and then go to the dealer .

If your really worried about the piggy then just do a better more hidden install. One guy, must have taken hours to do, actually undid his harness all the way up behind the heater core. Then he traced and tapped into the lines there. This let him hid the piggy in the right corner of the car and no wiring could be seen. The piggy can't be detected with any checks so he never had any warranty issues.

It was a hard install but one he was happy to have accomplished.

Ive taken 3 times the car for warranty, and never ever found it. The only way to find it is if they look for it, which is unlikely. In PR Mitsu has a strong campaign against modding. In some dealers, a team of 2 high ranking techs vists 2 days a week. They cant find nothing in the car or they will take the warranty...All 3 times Ive taken it they ve been there and my warranty still holds today. So unless you have it on full view, its unlikely for them to know.

Oh and Ive taken it with both the piggy AND Evo Joe's Super Pulley

interesting, well what if I wanted to save for a turbo... and thats perfect cause i wanna keep my warrenty for the longest possible. Wat mods could i do that would boost me up but wont be a waste when i throw in my turbo?

i already have to take off my CAI everytime i go in for maintance.. thats a pain.

jeeze, i have never seen a bunch of performance ppl as worried about a warrany as us. my warranty was void at 2800 miles (completely tore down engine). as a general rule, to get BIG numbers you gotta let go of the warranty. the old saying goes "dot drive your racecar to work". i dont agree, but i do think that if you really want to spend the money to build your car you shold save some to fix the stuff you break.
