I was tired of my welded on muffler (Never again, learned my lesson) and did not want to pay the price for a stock mid-pipe & muffler since I can't find any used or wrecked parts locally. So i felt like e-mailing Greddy about the EVO2 catback system for the 03 OZ eventhough I knew the answer was NO that it wouldn't fit. Hopefully we might have a bolt on catback system option sometime soon from a well known company. This is what they responded with:

which have a specific application descriptions, are only tested to fit those
vehicles. We can not recommend installing an item on any other vehicle than
stated on it description However sometimes some systems can be installed on
similar cars with either little or no modifications.
We do however have plans for a system specifically for your model.
Hopefully it will be available later this spring or summer.

I would like to know if the Greddy EVO2 Catback exhaust system for the
2002-2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ edit. would also fit my 2004 Mitsubishi
Lancer Ralliart model? If not do you have any other exhaust options
available for my vehicle or any future plans?

greddy played a huge part in my 1st gen eclipse. i absolutly LOVE their products. i can guarontee ill be buying one of them soon as they come out.

 

I have a bunch of friends with the EVO 2 exhaust and Im hooked on the sound, look, fit n finish, and performance. Plus the sound isn't Honda Loud at all and my friends have no cats with race headers & downpipes on SE-R's. Even on the highway there is no loud drone we can actually talk to each other at a normal tone.

 

greddy is a great company hopefully they'll look our way

 

I have that exhaust on my lancer. It does sound pretty sexy and it's not loud at all.

 

Can anyone say i'm ready for greddy!!! Hooray!!! okay i aplogize that was kinda gay but you guys get the idea right?

 

Is this a cat-back system?

 

lol i have tht system on my car man...all u got to do is wield a o2 bung and cut it a bit...it sounds great...first RA to have the cat-back tht i know of.

 

i should take my car to them to show them whts up..lol.

 

Hope they do come out with one cause with the money I have plus a summer job, I'll be looking to buy an exhaust system and probably some things from RRM

 

yeah greddy, hks, forced performance, and hahn racecraft, were all great companies i used on my 1'st gen. i would reccomend them to anyone
