um ok ive been using xenon blue lightbulbs for 13K miles and no problem.

Ive seen one of those ion blue sportbacks here in dallas....i was like..wtf. lol i wish they had the blue by you color for the RA

when i was a tech for mitsu, i was always adding crash harness pigtails to headlight assemblys on eclipses because they used cool blue bulbs and burnt them out

lucky i didn't buy the blue ES sitting at the dealership.
So how much are these harnesses to replace if we happen to fry them?

i cant remember exactly prolly like 50$ per crash harness, and about 75$ in labor.

Okay...Im bringing this back to life.

#1: I bought the cool blues and have had them installed for approximately 9 months with zero issues. How long did you have them before they fried your harness? Im not saying I DONT believe you but my car is fine so far. Although it is white soooo....maybe the blue conspiracy doesnt affect white cars!

im thinking of getting Sylverstars and after searching around the frying the harness issue is nothing a thing im looking forward to... ok so:

i cant run a 65W+ bulb?
running tinted bulbs is a no-no?

also many ppl have gotten a year out of a pair of silverstars but many get a month or 2 out of them...question here is...are they that crappy or its just ppl dont know how to install them and they touch the bulb

i had the cool blue. i just thought they were a waste of money. i couldnt even really see any blue once so ever. unless i looked at the bulb with the lights off

You have to be listening to Eifel65 when purchasing!

A blue light isn't going to look blue when it's on because it's busy frying the wiring harness!
