I was looking at how fast my 92 camry v6 xle is, and its actually faster than the ralliart!! is that true??

well i wanted to..but they were all out. i went to the 2 closest mitsu dealers and they didnt have any ralliart.... booo!!! well i know it can take turns real well..... but in a straight line test, its slower than my camry....=\ oh well! i'll still test drive the ralliart til my hearts content...

 

still the camry will never handle as well as the Ralliart trust me and everybody that owns the RA get one

 

my ralliart will spank any camery any day, a 0-60 in 10.9 sec. camery im not impressed at all, dude get the ralliart!

then again it all about what you want out of car.

 

Erm, the info I'm seeing is that the V6 Camry is slower. 15.9 quarter mile and 8 second 0-60. Ralliart is a low 15 car and 7 second 0-60.

 

Sure on paper you make more power. 1/4 mile times suggest however that the ralliart is faster.

Unless I did my homework wrong, camry xle times are a pretty slow for the quarter mile and 0-60.
camry xle - 1/4 = 18.2 secs, 0-60 in 11.2 seconds. (googled it)
ralliart - 1/4 = 15.5 secs 0-60 in 7.6 secs (according to scc mag - see link)

Just because the camrys putting out more power doesnt necessarily mean that it is gonna move a whole lot more quickly. In this case it actually moves a WHOLE LOT more slowly.

 

to start off with they are 2 different cars, one is a mid-luxury car, the other is more of a sports sedan. Then, top speed and acceleration isn't everything to a car, nor is horsepower, it's not about the numbers, its about the drive

 

Dude - sorry but your camry will not beat the ralliart even with the 6 cyl. In fact, it wouldn't even be close. There's a lot more to acceleration than a HP number. For example, my ralliart is quicker to 60 than my H6 Outback with 212 HP. Not to mention the night and day diff. in handling. No offence but if you watched a camry go through the pilons course, it looks like on old goat. A very nice car in its own right but not comparable to the ralliart performance wise.

 

Are we seriously comparing a CAMRY with the Ralliart??

My RA will eat your Camry for a snack and poop it out later as a shiny penny!

Go find one and drive it.....you will be impressed. I have changed a couple of Evo owner's opinions of the Ralliart (maybe it was my skillful driving??).

See the comparison. mid to large family car with a larger engine in it. It's not tuned for performance and its heavier than the ralliart. Go drive the Ralliart, you'll see.

 

horsepower to weight ratio, and getting that power to the ground, those two are what really matter.
