Experience with 10year Bumper to Bumper Warranty?

I haven't really read thru the paperwork yet... But can anybody tell me of their experiences with this warranty if anybody has had any?

And/or if you have read the warranty information any silly things that aren't covered or how the coverage works?

I know on WarrantyDirect I can get a 10 year bumper to bumper that covers everything except the brakes, clutch, and a couple emissions things - other than that it's 100% covered... How does the Mitsu warranty compare???

bumper to bumper is 5 years I believe. Powertrain is 10 years, unless 06's are different, but a 10 year bumper to bumper seems ridiculous (for Mitsu)

Gonna get a refund on the $1980 that I paid for this warranty and get one thru WarrantyDirect.com for $1288 that is 0 deductable 10year bumper to bumper and drivetrain that includes all emissions, only things that are not included are wear items such as spark plugs, brakes, clutch =)

As stated above, the 10yr/100K warranty is powertrain only. Adjustment warranty is 12k/1 year, and the bumper to bumper stuff is 36k/3 year.

Unless you got a deal through your dealer, or there's a new promo I don't know about.

I haven't had too many problems with warranty work. TSB work has been a pain, though, in regards to the rear control arms, which shouldn't affect the 06's.

If you cancel it within 60 days (you have 04 so I doubt it) then you get a full refund - but if you have a lien on the car the check they refund to you is made out to you AND the loan company - so basically it's a car payment.

If you do it after 60 days they pro-rate it by how much time has passed or some crap. You have to read the contract that is how I got my answers.

And yes, I have 10year bumper/bumper 100k on my 06 thru AutoGuard thru the dealership (horrible company after reading some reviews) so I am cancelling it, I still have like 28 days to cancel it and then I am gonna get my warranty direct.

I just keep receipts for the oil and the filters and record the changes in a maintenance log and I don't have issues - well - never did in the past with previous vehicles I mean.

"I'm sorry Jeff, we can't reproduce the problem. Unfortunately this means we can't srvice the issue."

*leaves the dealership and experiences the same problem*

Oh, and if anyone else got the 42000 free service warranty...I went in for that the other day for my 30k service. I had 30547 miles on my car. "Sorry, Mitsubishi won't cover it, you'll have to get the finance manager or dealership manager you know personally to approve it to be paid by the dealership."

Vehicle warranties are bull****...almost as bad as car insurance.
