Buying a Ralli

well here it is, went to the dealership last night to try to get a thunder grey ralli. here is the car that i want

06, Ralliart
s&s package
Stick
Thunder grey

they had a silver one that they wanted to sell me and i laughed at him. he told me that its all he has right now so i told him if he wants my business he better find me one. my family has bought 4 cars there now, i should get treated a little better than that...

so he went to his manager and im friends with the guy, name is Gus, he drives a blue Evo8 i think its an 03. anyawys

the dealer locate through mitsubishi shuts off at 7pm, it was about 8:30 and every other dealership wouldnt trade that late, so he said give me a call in the morning, ill take care of it ill find you the car.

woke up this morning, called he is in court today that he forgot about. so my sales guy Eddie said he woudl take care of it, its been about 3 hours so im thinkin i should call them back and ask them if they got my car.

hopefully ill be getting my car today, ill keep everyone posted

Sometimes dealer locates take longer than just a day....plus the Ralliart is kind of "rare". Hope they find what you are looking for....stay patient.

bs about the car locating taking a long time. my friend wanted an 2006 subaru sti, and he wanted White with gold rims. there werent any at the time in texas with that combo, and he called a dealer in Kansas, they said they would find one and they would trailer it to his house (dallas) for free. They ended up driving to Boulder Colorado to pick up the STi, then drive down to Dallas to dop off the car, sign papers, and they took his trade in back to Kansas all for free. Now tell me that isnt great service, and if your mitsu dealer is too lazy to get the car you want, find a dealer that will.

and i wouldnt pay 19K for a Ralliart. ever. 15 max

I don't think he is getting ripped at all. A 06 with S&S without taxes around $18000. That seems pretty decent to me. The S&S package and appearence package is around a $1500 option which brings the price down to $16500 without it. By no means is it a steal, but it is still a good price. The 06 has been out for what 4 months, if that?

I say go ahead and buy it.

19k is high?...damn, next time I'll just buy my car in the states.

I got mine at a deal for ~$24K cdn(tax and all inc.)...with conversion that's ~$20600 k US. Typically dealers are trying to get about $27500 with tax and stuff up here
