seat problem

i was cleaning out my car the other day and noticed that ther are springs or peices of metal poking through the back of my seat, "sharp to" they almost cut the **** out of me! they look like little rods just pokin trough and their rippin the **** out of seat , any one els ever experience anything like that

i had the SAME issure, bring it back to the dealer, they will swap the top half of your seat...It will be on backorder tho, i had a 2 month company backorder ;(

If you unzip the zippers on the sides, you can see the metal wires/rods are held by a plastic piece. Mine did it too and the metal just broke off the plastic.

ya my seat makes noises when my fat *** sits in it and the seat moves around a little bit.

i would get that checked out too, cause it could be somthing serious.

my sister had that problem in her eclipse , after awhile her seat wouldnt lock in one place it kept sliding back and forth. lol every time she hit the gas her seat would slide back and when she hit the brake it wou..........well lets put it this way shed be eatin the steering wheel . lol

OMG....that would have been freakin scary, and Im sorry but its kinda funny. The thing is, I am way over my full coverage on my warranty, So next year I am gunna see if I can find a set of EVO 8 recaro buckets and just live with the damn squeak for a year. Plus I can sell my seats to some kid for 4 or 500 bucks.

i had the same probelm back in september of 05 i just took it back to the dealer and they replaced the seats for me, but now it is doing it again wtf . Hey does the lemon law come into effect here or what, lol maybe i can get my car for free if the seat breaks one more time, lol

probably not but worth a try

again , that sucks at this rate were gonna have to replace our seats once a year ! lol
i just took mine to the dealer today and they said my new seat will be in here in like 3-4 days. im suprized they didnt give me a run around.

oh yeah, and can04rali i saw the evo 8 recardo buckets on ebay yesterday for 500 bucks !

yeah american 500 bucks = 1000 canadian LOL. thats a hella good deal. I unfortunatly need to get some work done asap and cant afford seats for a while. I may need to pay for a head gasket LOL. If not, I need a power polish and some other work done. So my seats will wait and I will put up with hearing "EEk EEk" from time to time from my fat as* being planted in those comfortable seats made for tiny chinamen
