what is the deal with the sensors in our cars ? dont you guys think its alittle to early for us to be having sensor problems all the time ?

It's emissions related so if you haven't modified anything on your car that's fuel/air related, it should be covered under warranty for 2 years minimum. If it's been taken out, put back in, taken out and chewed on by a pack of rabid pit bulls and crossthreaded on the way back in.... you may have some difficulty convincing them to do it. Haven't done any mods at all? Should be covered by the federal protection plan on emissions equipment. I just found out the federal regulations changed, so here's a link:

thats a good thing to know I get a cel that says something like no o2 sensor activity on bank 1 so it is the rear o2 sensor which means I can just get under there and replace it with no problem.



would the rear sensor make me have bad mpg? cause my mpg suck ***.
