The Less Weight The Better, tire Pressure Is Is Good Around 16-20psi ,just Be Sure To Warm Up Those Tires, launching At 3 Should Be Good Just Don't Floor It If You Do You'll Burn Up Though The Gears And Have No Traction ....result, Not The Time You Wanted.....take Some Time And Get Use To The Track Practice Makes Perfect.... Don't Expect Your Dream Time The First Run You'll Be Disappointed... Good Luck.....

OK i did 16.2 yesterday with all my tools and a box of motor oil in the trunk. My car is tottally stock and tere was no grip in the track at all, so u should not have any problems hitting 15.

Actually im prepping for a match with a 2006 Civic SI tonight at hte track. wish me luck

PS. i tried to post the time slip but couldnt find a way to do it

good luck hitting the 15's

My best was 15.07. But I'm stuck in 16's now since I stretched the synchro for 3rd.

Drive quick but be gentle or it'll be your last good run till you fix what you broke.

Stretched the synchro for 3rd... what do you mean, how exactly did you do that and how can you tell.

ok things u can do...

a)remove everything from your trunk including the subwoofer (if available)
b)empty your tires a little (not much because u might loose momentum)
c) personally i believe that 3k launch is too high i recomend 2.5k rpm for launch

verify track conditions and if they sprayed bite or something to make it sticky

my best time is 16.04 100% stock in a very humid night so u must do 15's

the best of lucks.

BTW my thread was locked so im going to say it here for those interested last night the civic was faster but i crossed the finish line first. any doubts i have the time slip. I said the guy was not a very good driver another one for mitsu

Just the RRM Downpipe and Toyos

That is my unofficial time measured with a Beltronics FX3. It's very accurate, but obvoiusly you won't have a reation time.

Do a search for Synchro. There's tons of threads on it because they go bad on Mitsu all the time (if you abuse them). It baisiclly won't want to shift into gear. And if you force it in, it grinds. You hear a pretty littke zip noise.

Ralliart vs Audi TT Timeslip

I found this timeslip, I find it amazing not for the time but for the beaten Audi TT

see my sig for my fastest time. I shift a little past redline and I launch at about 2500 but the track is unprepped so tire spin/hop is bad. the humidity here kills your mph too.

it is a very interesting time slip there especially for the AudiTT he got a 2. flat 60 ft time and yet only netted a 16.2 with a elapsed speed of 65mph he must of missed a gear or something or he has a fast car and can't drive

but nice times for you 60ft @ 2.3sec, 600ft @ 9.5sec, 15.5 sec and 88mph

my best so far is 60ft @ 2.2sec 660ft @ 10.1sec, 15.7sec and 87mph

hopefully mine will change by next weekend

My best right now is 15.1 at 92 @ a humid night and non sticky track

Im trying the other track since its way stickier and all the cars always better their time at least by .3 or so. Salinas to the PR folk
