Has anything happened to your headlights?

I just finished washing my car, then i vacuumed. as i vacuumed i left the car on, no ac, all doors open. this was the setting.

Alright, so i was walking around the front of the car when i noticed my driver side head light is popping out a little bit. so i opened up the hood and saw that my head light was being split apart, as if it was put in the over and were being pulled apart. The other headlight was fine though. this sucks. Think this is under warranty?

Oh, and i have eyelids on.

It should be under warranty as long as your milage isn't too high.

Move to a cooler climate.

the dealer should cover that no problem, unless your eyelids had anything to with it

it took me over three hours to remove my eyelids, and that was with some help from 2 of my friends, i wont be putting them on again. I used a blade and carefully scrapped the tape off then used some goo gone to clean it up a bit.

A blow dryer and a bit of patience. You can have the eyelids off within 10 minutes, tape and all.

blow dryer = hair dryer. Basically, use hot air to heat up the eyelids, which makes it easy to peel back the tape. This is how I removed mine.

i took my eyelids just now, along with the big pieces of 3m double sided. but all that sticky stuff is on my head lights. it's going to be a PITA to remove. i used the blow dryer also, but the 3m just wouldnt come off cleanly. more hard work for me...i just developed calouses on my finger tips. hah.
