this or that?

since theyre almost in the same price range, which would be a better mod to get first. pulleys or sri?
pulleys +: more hp and cheaper but difficult to install
sri+: easy install but higher price & not as much of a gain.

what do you guys think?

that's totally a matter of opinion. Are you thinking of getting one of these mods for yourself, or just seeing what everyone else would do? If you're doing it for yourself, you need to go by what your priorities are, ease of install, price or gains? you seem to know the pros and cons on both of the products, now just go with your priorities.

Pulley isn't much harder to install than an SRI.

id go with the SRI, cuz (1) it wont void ur waranty the pulley will, (2) its safer for your car while the pulley is debatable, (3) the sri sounds bad ***!

Pulley. You will notice a slight smoothness in the engine because it has a little less work to do. It'll rev a little better. You also get slightly better gas mileage. Also, if your dealership is a pain, anything you do will hurt your warranty.
Short rams have never impressed me.

thanks for the input you guys, i think im going to go with sri first and then pulleys a few months later when i could afford them. if theyre both easy to install and give me gains why not get both right? but yeah, thanks again.

The dealership i got mine at offers the pulley for install. Infact they have all the RRM stuff availible for install. They even have a 05 RA with the RRM turbo kit, forged internals, lsd, bodykit, wheels, cf hood, race seats, etc, for sale with warranty...but they want too much for the install of the pulley, same cost as the pully itself! Its only an hours work, so i'll be doing mine myself...

Both are easy to install. It's up to you.....
and the Pulley hasn't voided my warranty.

IMO --- if you plan on modding the car anyway, why worry about the warranty?

Yeah they've got it all, perosnally anything I've looked at buying from them is way too expensive...they seem to put a pretty good mark-up on the stuff.
But it's nice to know they sell it.
