I barked up this tree awhile ago. Nobody has done it yet. I'm curious about whether a buschur kit can be made to fit.

I have changed my battery to the small ones just that I need to get the battery grip off an EVO. The big difference between our RAs is that my battery location is the same as that of an EVO. Perhaps it would be possible to relocate the battery?

In the image above the stock battery at a different location.

I am looking at a sealed motorbike battery for mine it will be less than half the size and weight as the stock battery and placed were the EVO battery is...

Before people start saying it can't be done and not a good move I can't see why it would be a problem I mean a battery is a battery as long as it has a positive and a negitive and has the same CCA all is good

The lancer and colt turbo only comes in automatic. This is for a simple reason of protecting the EVO market. Anyway the auto tranny can be easily swapped to either a GSR turbo or the previous Mivec lancer manual box.....

Every freaking car is expensive in Singapore.....

I've seen people use these in EVO's and WRX's. Said they've never had a problem with them. One guy I was talking to relocated it to the trunk. That's something I've thought about doing. It shouldn't be too hard.

EDIT: Here's a tray that would probably work if you don't want to build one.
