S2000 Antenna

Anyone have any problems (bad radio reception, feedback, etc.) using an S2000 antenna on their ralliart?

i have one and its collecting dust. i didnt like the look when fitted and the some stations get weak reception. i just cut the oem antenna at the base of the long twirlee part if u know what i mean and that work just fine.

^you must live right next to your fav radio station....my stock antenna doesnt even pick up all the stations as is.

yeah the stock antenna is perty bad... so to me a stubby really wasn't any worse.

The stock antenna blows...I finallys caved and just hooked up my ipod with the Belkin wireless charger thingy...works great.

hahah maybe because i live near LA, but there was no dramatic diff so i just kept the stocky because it was smaller.

Don't get the S2000 one it's ugly and doesn't fit properly( I had it). I bought the Perrin one and it's awesome no trouble with the radio at all.

The Perrin is worth the 30 bucks, good reception and better then nipping the stock one off!

Not sure what's up with your guys' radios, but my antenna works great, i keep reception of the local stations further out o nthe highway then any other car i've owned( aka about 120kms down the highway, where most would drop out around 100kms).

It does look a little RC'ish...

...I've wondered what those fin style ones(see newer bmw's) would like on it.
