Question She keeps stalling, what do I do?

On my way home from work last night i turn a corner and my check engine light turns on. 5 Seconds later she runs rough as hell and stalls out. I try to start her and she sputters, runs rough and dies. If i feather the gas lightly she runs but is rough, if it goes above 3K she dies. I think it is the fuel pump. It was running perfectly fine minus a drop in MPG over the past month. Please help me?

When was the last time you changed your spark plugs? It sounds like you had some misfiring. Check your cables and spark plugs. As for the fuel pump, never let your car go below the 1/4 mark before filling up. There could be a situation where by the fuel pump is left dry and thats the end of the pump....as its just a push pump.....but since you still could fire up, I dont think its the pump because when it dies, it is completely dead.......

Check your piggy. Mine did that once when one of my wires came loose. As long as you didn't solder it on, pretty easy to pull.

seems to be a few short term problems with the piggy back - is this due to the manner it was installed - meaning did RRM install or done by the car owner... be interesting to see those that had RRM vs owners vs problems
