why the hate from the se-r spec v boys?

top gear rocks. wish we had a show like that here
I like the spec v, with all of the cars I looked at it came down to the spec v or the ralliart, I bought the ralliart because I got a hella deal on it also the spec v is supposed to run premium and the ralliart runs 87, that saves a lot of money. The nissan dealership wouldn't deal so I had to go were I could get the best deal. I love the ralliart, with better tires and a LSD it could take a spec v in corners, the open dif dose hurt it.

I have friends with SE-R's/Spec V's and they don't hate on my Ralliart. Stock the cars are pretty much almost equal especially with the base SE-R's from the first two years of production. Spec V's will have the advantage as previosly stated with the 6-speed & LSD. I'm able to keep up with them except on the damn highway since all of them have alot more mods and just take off on me. One being turbo and the others having full exhausts with no cats from the Header back. I'm waiting on my header from RRM and my Greddy catback is sitting in the house to see how much an improvement it will make.

The Spec V was also a consideration of mine, but decided against it because the exterior appearance.
But if mazda would've dealed as good as mitsu did then I'd probably be driving a 3 GT with Leather...I miss leather after the last car.
Hey
, start putting leather in...plz.

The V is a driver's car. I see people dumping the clutch at like 4k when it really should be about 1700 for maximum traction. Then again most of them don't know how to drive

But oh well, it obviously wasn't a deal killer...

I like the spec-v's but i dig the ralliart a bit more. With just a cai i became unbeatable against speckled vee's. I raced a friend with an injen intake, header, exhaust, all wrapped up with falken azenis and put one car length between us. The same said friend ran a 14.9 on the strip. Just had to add that too brag. I got no hate for them, or any other ride, i;m bit of a car *****. Its ridiculous to argue which car is better. Personally i like the fact that my ralliart gets no love, its sort of a sleeper, only after the race is when all the compliments come and thats how it should be.

Im a nissan guy at heart, so I was drawn to the specV early, but the final turn off was that it wasn't produce in japan. That (and a few other facts) turn me to the ralliart even more. I use to have a 2001 Sentra SE (sr20) and was sooo close to turboing it, but change my mind and sold it.
Just like GP said, the 2007 Sentra debuts this year (summer). SpecV is suppose to follow late this year or early 08 and yes, it is suppose to be a turbo. Im keeping a keen eye on it, because this could be the specV that we (atleast me) has been waiting for.
