I voted Injen only because it can be converted to a SRI in the rainy seasons and its adaptability with the by-pass. Also, Injens filters are quality and time proven, while I am not sure were RRM gets their filters from.

/\/\ You can take the the long CAI tube off, and keep the small tube that goes to the intake manifold on and put the filter on it their. SRI= Short Ram Intake

Here we go again.
This is obviously a topic that has been driven into the ground. I did a search in the Ralliart forums for cold air intake and found all this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/se...archid=2577457

You may also want to check the Ralliart NOOB FAQ that is stickied in this forum. There is a lot of info there that has been discussed at length on the boards.

Oh, and Welcome to the boards!
To answer your question....it is purely personal preference. All the CAI's are similar in construction.

and like wrecked was saying, if you live somewhere with alot of bad weather you may think of injen so you can use a short ram for some parts of the year. its part of why i did it.....im actually going cold air again in a week or so i hope.

As stated before there are volumes of info on this already discussed here. But, my choice was to go with the injecn CAI as well for the reasons stated above already. I like being able to convert my intake into a short ram intake anytime I want to (specifically in the winter). Good luck with your purchase.

Doesnt AEM also make a CAI for the ralliart?

I voted injen because the RRM one i have is flaking, the filter it came with broke, and I had to adjust the mount on the intake to make it fit properly.

The Version 1 RRM CAI came with a tiny K&N filter, it couldnt handle the suction and the rubber base of the filter would tear, K&N wouldnt replace it because it wasnt being used on one of their intakes.

how much horse power gain will I get with the aem cai and does this make your car sound a little more noticeable? I am getting an exhaust next.
