axel-bak VS cat-back

What's the gain difference from RRM's Axel-back exhaust over their cat-back exhaust?

pipe size makes a difference, but unless you go all the way to the engine(header, dp, catback) it won't be something you will feel since the only thing you are actually upgrading is the muffler. If you plan on doing the whole exhaust system don't waste your money on the axleback though, because when you do the header/dp you will have to change all of your piping to get the maximum benefit, so you will have done a catback system in the end anyway.

I'll be getting the RRM catback in a week or two. From what i hear the gains will be minimal, in fact we may loose low rpm tq and gain more in the higher rpms, but once we combine that with the dp and header we'll really feel the gains. Also the intake/catback combo is just a standard beginner mod to get you off on your way from what i hear, cause that's what is normally always done first...

yeah but the downpipe is discontinued and will be replaced by the headers and i dont really want to have an exhaust w/o having a full intake/exhuast system like intake mani and headers

True, so its technically a choice up to you. Personally i won't get to the headers and intake mani for a while cause i'm gonna try to save up for a laptop. I'm getting the catback in order to get rid of this metal rusty pipe coming out the back, and don't want just an axel back. It makes sense to me.. haha don't ask Good luck deciding though
