Questions about upgrades.

Ive noticed alot of cars are doing the EVO MOMO steering wheel swap and I want to know if its easy and where did you get the steering wheel and for how much and also is the air bag still functional. And I also want to know what is a good break kit upgrade for the car. By the way I drive a 2006 Lancer Ralliart.

It's easy, takes about 5 minutes of actual work and yes the airbag is functional. Do a search for the rest, its all on here.

the evo steering wheel doesn't have an airbag, if I'm not mistaken. and yeah, for these very simple questions you should search for your answers. read the noob thread at the top of the general forum as well

Evo steering wheel should have an airbag... i think all new cars come with them.. haha cause if you look at pictures of wrecked evos that have bags blown... Also as far as the break kit goes.. Roadracemotorsports.com sells a couple nice ones... I don't know any group selling a complete kit other than them...

Of course it has an airbag. That's one of the main reasons people buy it as opposed to an after market wheel. What it doesn't have is cruise control. I don't know if anybody has successfully retrofitted RA cruise control with the evo wheel but theoretically it should be doable.

Evo comes with a MOMO with airbag stock.

The cruise control can be made to work with the Evo wheel, you just need the clock spring out of your Ralliart.

As for brakes, RRM sells a big brake kit, RPW is selling dual piston calipers for the stock rotors, and better brake pads can be found on eBay.

Let me answer these questions once and for all since I have one in my car right now!

-YES stock Evo steering wheel fits RalliArt
-YES it is MOMO branded
-YES it has an airbag
-NO it does not have a cruise control mount

DO NOT buy one from the dealer as it will cost you around $1200!!! I got mine in the "Private For Sale / Wanted" section of this forum: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/private-evo-1-9-sale-wanted-17/

Expect to pay around $300-400 on eBay and around $250-300 on this board.

Install is easy once you break loose the allen holding it together... something like an 8mm is needed I think.
