My RalliArt Logo

So, here's the deal. I've had a Ralliart banner across my rear window for just over a year. After half a year, it started looking like crap. The red stripes shrank, and the silver lettering lost its luster. Now two months ago, the lettering started to really lose its color. It's spotted now and looks bad. Here she is...

So I went to the graphics shop and complained. They said they had a lot of problems w/ the red roll. As for the silver, they said it shouldn't have happened, said it couldn't have even been from cleaning solutions because its supposed to withstand paint thinner. Anyways, they said they'd replace it. I'm worried it will deteriorate again. Also, a lot of people said its way too big. So, what should I do.

1. Replace it
2. Just have them clean it off and leave it bare.
3. Have them clean it off then buy Shiroboi's banner

Shiroboi's banner looks like this...

his is made from resin colored sheets baked into vinyl. If I do take this route, does anybody know how well this stuff stands up to fading or any other problems?

I vote clean it off and leave it bare it looks cleaner without it but what do you like? If you like a banner i would go for the smaller one but it's your car.

I have a product of shiroboi's (in my avatar) although I am not sure how different it is since I had him put the vinyl on plastic. It has not faded at all and I have had them awhile now. Granted they are not in direct sunlight all the time.

I would clean it off and leave it bare, but it's your car, your choice.

If it looks like crap either replace it or leave it bare but either way you need to take it off. Let me know where you got it from though so I know where not to buy from.

It came from Canham Graphics in Springfield, IL. I think I've rulled out replacing it. But I'd like to get more feedback about Shiroboi products.

I took mine off and I've been thinking about putting something similar to his on the back window. And why does he need to go to sticker rehab for one sticker? I think you are blowing this a little out of proportion.

I'm sorry, I've been hanging in OT way too long and it's too easy for me to take subjects way off topic now.

I've been posting in there mostly over the last 6 months or so because it's seemed like the maturity level of the Ralliart forum has dropped some. I think it's because more RA's are in the used car market now so more families are buying them for their young kids. Buy anyways, I just figured that instead of me getting frustrated it was better to just stay away.
