Is this header worth getting?

The people I've talked to who have fixed up some of their cars say OBX has been around awhile and is legit, but I'm wondering what your guys' opinions are.

i think ill try to log on to obx web sit to see if they do have a listing for this header and if it does really fit the ra cause i know ther aint nobody beating that price!

Well it's apparently a racing brand that has been around awhile they also have near 100% feedback, I think I'm going to buy it in a few days, take it to the guy who works on my car and if it doesn't work I get my money back and contact paypal to let them know product was not as advertised.

Here are a few threads you might want to read before you are so quick to drop money on an important part of your car. And for the last thread just read the last comment.

ALWAYS do as much research as possible on something before you buy it. Especially big purchases like this.

I had a quick look at the headers that are up on ebay and to be perfectly honest with you a couple of things that they have not mentioned but are claiming does not seem quiet right when i compare them to the ones I have firstly they are a 4-2-1 design where as the RPW's are 4-1 the ones shown also seem to be shorter in length than what RPW offers which means torque will not be a great, but they also have said that they have been dyno tested but did not postup a result which means that the result may not of been great - I know if I had a product to sell and claimed that it has been dyno tested I would certainly post up the dyno results as it would create more sales? plus there seems to be too many angles in the exhaust which will also reduce power in fact it would probably act the same as the cat choking stock manifold... I think there are other and better options out there with RRM and RPW at least these guys are open and up front with results

I don;t have it for obvious reason but that header looks more like the type that you would use on the 2lt 4G94 because of the shape of the bolt plate and the 02 sensor

Dude, have you even done a search for OBX on this site? Well I have and I pretty much found nothing but bad comments about the quality of their stuff. It appears that nobody has THIS particular part here, but reading about all their other stuff I wouldn't waste my money on it. The price maybe very attractive but that is what should be throwing up red flags for you also.

But that's just me. You do what you want. You can be the first to get it and then you can give us all a review.

aside from the fact that it looks like the exhaust hangers are not in the right area as well, I can tell you it's not for our car for sure because it's cheap. Our stock header is better than that for sure. As chowetime has said, look at the header itself. You can see how quickly the pipes go from 4 to 2, too short. the overall length of the 2 before the merge to 1 is very short as well. In the stock header/dp the merge is not until after the bend. Good luck with this header. Not worth it IMO

That exhaust is not for the RA. OBX has ben around for bit in Asia. The stuff is ususally based on ASIA versions of our cars. They made them for whatever is hot and have stolen designs and copied a lot of good parts built here in the U.S. Just for your info................
