auto whp and manuel whp

auto whp and manual whp

im just curious about the whp on the auto and the manual. i heard manual has more whp but what if u shift with the auto, will it give u the same whp results as the manual thxfor your time.

The only way to get the whp and speed of a manual is to buy a manual unless you wanna do a lot of work to your auto.

The reason autos don't put down the same WHP numbers as manuals is because there's a greater loss of power through an auto transmission, mainly due to the torque converter. Shifting the auto won't make a bit of difference. See other threads on that subject.

My standard ralliart puts down 153hp?154lbtq. The only existing mods i done to it was a CAI from RRM and got it tuned with my SAFC.

I thought stock RA's pulled 146whp? saw something from a long time ago....

Every RA will dyno a bit different.... on a different dyno... at different temps.... different humidity.... different atmospheric pressure.

It will cost more to upgrade an auto, but you do get less whp in the end. The advantage--- better 1/4 mile times if you are a bad driver

You don't have to worry about granny shifting, it does it for you

i cant stand the auto in my eclipse i had the 5 speed in my 2000, but traded it in for an 03 sporty, its nice when i dont want to shift but i dont like not having the control of the power to my wheels like the 5 speed,

That's ok though. an Auto RA is faster then a Manual ES so i'm not worried.
