There's a lot of debate on how to break-in a car. With what I've read, I believe that the best way to break in an engine drive it at a wide range of speeds without beating hard on it (tons of launches and such). It seems that people who do harder break in's tend to have FEWER problems than those who do a very gentle break in.

Sexy car, I love the vortex generator. And now the Modding begins. Might I suggest SRI, Pulley, Axel Back, Progress Race Springs, for starters. Then see what you wanna do from there. The car loves to be turbo'd from what i've heard. Also put some new rubber on it. I'm not sure if the car still comes with Eagle RSA's still, but if it does, expect new tires at 6000 miles. I never did burn outs or threw my car hard into corners and even my back tires started showing wear, the front were to the wear lines. I put Yokohama on, just slightly lower profile than stock, and i absolutely love them.

update...

I'm up to 420 miles on teh car, finally started driving it hard. hot damn is it fun. no problems so far. i'm getting used to the "adaptive" shiftpoints, as i had a bmw tiptronic transmission in my last car... i think they should have just done what BMW does, and have an "econo" mode and an "sport" mode for pre-set high revs. it's alot more satisfying and you can switch on the fly. but AGAIN, lol that was that car.

as far as mods... tires are the first on the list. these tires suck... the road noise is absolutely terrible... and yeah, every damn bump is felt. i know that has alot to do with the suspension as well but i can tell they're junk. i put silverstars it and they look good, but not as good as my last PIAA's. you get what u pay for i guess.

i got like 18.5 miles per gallon on my first tank, with teh A/C on... ugh... but it's back up to 23ish right now, without ac, 9 out of 10 times city driving. decent...

If you're gonna mod, just be ready to drop your warrenty.

Mods like an intake, or exhaust shouldnt be a problem unless the problem is caused by your aftermarket parts.
