well, it seems like most people think the Spec V is alot better all around than the RA. I think it is alot closer than people think though.

Save all the money and buy a Galant. Just kidding. My friend has a Spec V and he drives just as hard as I do and thing is falling apart and I think he's only had it for less than a year. I'll pass on the Spec V personally.

What about the Nissan primium. It seems all of their cars come with less features than others with the same price OR cost thousands more with the same features.

The Spec-V is MDM! The car is really hard to launch and get's a **** load of wheel hop from the get go. My bro has a 2003, they're nice cars and can be had for very cheap but he has had a few problems with it so far. We haven't tested them yet but i think it's a drivers race anyways.

i didnt know our cars run 14.9 stock holy Sh@! thats pretty good, so if I would install my headers, and some pulleys w/ my mods i have i will be running low 14's

Yea i doubt that, most people will run around 15.5 unless you're a really good driver and have perfect track conditions. Some people can probably cut that time but not many. With all those mods i'd say your prob at high 14s.

My friend used to own an 04 spec V. He ran a 14.7 stock. I was there and witnessed time slip. I was shocked.

And the Lancer is good looking??? You 've got to be kidding. Once again, if you want objective thoughts, don't expect to get them from a Mitsibishi board.

Well, I hope your not making a generalization that we lack objectivity because we are on a mitsubishi forum. I think that there are always going to be people everywhere you go that lack objectivity. I personally think both the RA and the spec-v are decent cars. They arn't particularly fast but they arn't particularly slow either. They both are probably more fun to drive than any non-sporty vehicle and both have a sporty look to them. Which of the two is better is really something that comes down to the eye of the beholder. It's extremely difficult to find somebody who can do a fair comparison of two different cars. Both the cars definitely have simular performance numbers so its kind of silly for anybody to say that one blows away the other. Sure we see in the post that a stock spec-v can do the 1/4 mile in 14.7 seconds. I've also heard of a stock RA doing 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. As far as 0-60 is concerned they are somewhat fast, but once your up to 100 or so they can't haul like a nice dohc v8.
