Cargo nets and stuff

Hi all,

Just got a new 06 Ralliart up here in Canada had a few questions. Any of you guys get cargo nets for the trunk? If so, where did you get it from and did you have to install it yourselves? Being as its a fun car to take corners at speed, figured be nice not to have small stuff in trunk flying around.

Any other things you guys did to your RA after you bought it other than totally tricking it out? I'll probably get a better Air filter to start and maybe down the road do a new muffler and stiffer rear sway bar, but not planning on doing a bunch.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Al.

I have one. I got from my dealership and it was pretty cheap, $49.00 i believe i paid. The install is nothing. You screw off two caps in trunk and screw in two "t"- hooks in place and then hang the two loops from the net off them. IMO a great option to add if like me you have the sun and sound package and don't want **** flying in to the sub. Even with out the sub could still save you from a mess in the trunk!

I need to get that net. Stuff flies all over my trunk.

My first mods when I got the car were pretty basic - mesh grill (which the 06 has anyways), short shifter, and an axleback exhaust.

A while ago someone linked to this ebay store. Great stuff for much cheaper than the dealership.

yah cargo net shouldnt be more than a 5 min install.. I believe you only need a flat screw driver to pop the cap off and a philips to put in the "t" screw. Mine came on the car. In mine i hold my ice scraper, winter hat, gloves, and a blanket during the winter time. Also good if you are picking up some stuff from the store and dont want eggs or milk flying around your trunk (could end up a smelly mess)
